Grand County Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that owns the record.

Local Jail and Sheriff Records

The Grand County Jail answers time-sensitive custody and transfer questions. Sheriff staff handle booking and release records through the office's GRAMA process. Verify the correct counter before hand delivery because the jail and Sheriff's administration have different published street addresses.

Courts and Record Routes

Grand County District Court is at 125 E. Center Street in Moab and lists 435-259-1349 as its main number. The county bail page separately gives 435-259-1350 for Seventh District Court bail. Keep that distinction when calling. Court staff own docket entries and judicial orders, while the Sheriff owns the jail's operational release timestamp.

Use the home search and release-record process for a named person. Post-release status belongs on Parole / Probation. A same-day release-window request is described under Released Last 24 Hours. State prisoners use the official UDC Offender Search, and federal or immigration custody requires its own official locator.
